Museums and other non-profit repositories are unable to appraise donated artifacts in order for the donor to claim the allowed tax credit. This evaluation must be provided by an independent appraiser and Beltrone & Company, with its decades of experience in the antique weapons and militaria sales field, can provide donors with these appraisals.

     Beltrone & Company will inspect the artifacts to be donated, fully describe them and provide a detailed, written appraisal report of their current market value. Lee Beltrone will provide photographs as required.

     Appraisals can be made at the donor’s or recipient’s location or at Beltrone & Company for evaluation prior to donation.

     If requested, Beltrone & Company can offer guidance to donors as to appropriate repositories for their military artifacts.
